Drones Carry bags from Dolce and Gabbana's Autumn/ Winter 2018 women's collection at Milan Fashion week. The brand used quadcopter drones to model handbags on the runway. Please follow Youtube link to look at the full video.

8 quadcopter drones went down the Italian fashion houses runway carrying a handbag each at the Milan fashion show. The drones glided down the runway and stopped to be admired and photographed by the crowd. This show wasn't without technical difficulties, the show was 45 minutes late due to repeated announcements that the wifi connections had been turned off. Dolce and Gabbana is not the first company to use drones in a fashion show. In 2015 clothing company Betabrand used drones to model its clothing in Silicon Valley. This was a huge success and received really positive feedback from the audience. 
The use of technology is a good thing for the brand and shows it is keeping up with modern day technology and is trying to update their old fashioned history. However it is a worry in the future that technology will take over the use of models etc. I think this catwalk was a really good idea for Dolce and Gabbana and people will remember this catwalk.

Current: This brand positioning Map is where I feel the brand currently sits in the market against competitors. This map compare the quality and the price of the brand. I think Dolce and Gabbana has a high quality and a high price. However it is slightly cheaper than Prada and Gucci.  Proposed:  This is where I think my proposed brand D&G will sit against competitors in the market. I think it will be in the same area as competitors such as Moschino and Versus. It will be of a high price and high quality however it will be a lower price point than original Dolce and Gabbana brand.

Here are some screen shots I took earlier on in my marketing report development. This useful to look back at and see the improvements I have made, I also think it is useful to keep them incase I didn't like how I had changed it and wanted to go back to how it was. I definitely think in the first spread threre it too much going on and it needs to be made much more simple, I also think that the text needs to be positioned into the middle of the page in the last one. I am happy with the changes I Made to these spreads and it definitely took a long time to figure out how I wanted my report to finally look.
