Yesterday on January the 8th Kim Kardashian uploaded an instagram story of a beautiful Dolce and Gabbana outfit that had been sent to her. She posted the video saying how lovely it was and it even featured her little girl North West.

After the video was released Stefano Gabbana went on to comment on one of the Kim Kardashians posts calling her whole family "The most cheap people in the world". Kim then went to delete the instagram story and did not react back to the designers harsh words. This is not the first time Stefano has been called out as a cyber bully. 


As the Kardashians are one of the most influential families in this day and age, by upsetting the fans of the Kardashians Gabbana is asking for hate over the internet. Many fans reacted to the comment and are writing him with horrible comments. Again this is not the kind of publicity Dolce and Gabbana need. Many of the Kardashian fans are disappointed that she didnt react and fight back however I can imagine that the Kardashians won't be buying from Dolce and Gabbana again. Which is a shame since Kim and Kris regular wear clothes from the brand to high events, Kendall Jenner has walked front and centre for the brand in their SS15 show. The families dog were even called "dolce" and "Gabbana".  Fans criticised Kim for posting about the brand because of their comments made about IVF children, Kim is expecting her 2nd child to be born through a surrogate. The fans said they were disappointed and felt as though she was supporting them after they had made such horrible comments that Kim herself should feel offended by.

Current: This brand positioning Map is where I feel the brand currently sits in the market against competitors. This map compare the quality and the price of the brand. I think Dolce and Gabbana has a high quality and a high price. However it is slightly cheaper than Prada and Gucci.  Proposed:  This is where I think my proposed brand D&G will sit against competitors in the market. I think it will be in the same area as competitors such as Moschino and Versus. It will be of a high price and high quality however it will be a lower price point than original Dolce and Gabbana brand.

Layout Design Development

Here are some screen shots I took earlier on in my marketing report development. This useful to look back at and see the improvements I have made, I also think it is useful to keep them incase I didn't like how I had changed it and wanted to go back to how it was. I definitely think in the first spread threre it too much going on and it needs to be made much more simple, I also think that the text needs to be positioned into the middle of the page in the last one. I am happy with the changes I Made to these spreads and it definitely took a long time to figure out how I wanted my report to finally look.
