First Draft - Current Competitor Moodboard

This was my first attempt at the current competitors moodboard. I have included the brands Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Prada and Versace and Louis Vuitton. I decided not to use this moodboard as I dont think It represents the current brand Dolce and Gabbana. In my report I want to represent the aesthetic of Dolce and Gabbana and make it contrast to the brand D&G, I think this would be too similar to my proposed brand aesthetic, so I decided to re do this moodboard ( as seen in another blog post ).

Brand Positioning Maps - Current and Proposed

Current: This brand positioning Map is where I feel the brand currently sits in the market against competitors. This map compare the quality and the price of the brand. I think Dolce and Gabbana has a high quality and a high price. However it is slightly cheaper than Prada and Gucci.  Proposed:  This is where I think my proposed brand D&G will sit against competitors in the market. I think it will be in the same area as competitors such as Moschino and Versus. It will be of a high price and high quality however it will be a lower price point than original Dolce and Gabbana brand.

Layout Design Development

Here are some screen shots I took earlier on in my marketing report development. This useful to look back at and see the improvements I have made, I also think it is useful to keep them incase I didn't like how I had changed it and wanted to go back to how it was. I definitely think in the first spread threre it too much going on and it needs to be made much more simple, I also think that the text needs to be positioned into the middle of the page in the last one. I am happy with the changes I Made to these spreads and it definitely took a long time to figure out how I wanted my report to finally look.
