These are all images taken from the Gucci App.
I found the app very easy to use, it was very visual and had clear titles to direct you to where you want. However you cannot purchase clothes on the app it directs you to Gucci.com to the online store. However this App is good for keeping up to date with everything Gucci and a good advertisement point. I think that this app creates a connection to the consumer as its something they can see on their phone every day especially if they have notifications turned on then they can be kept up to date and will be a reminder to look at what's new for Gucci. The visuals were very creative and tied together nicely to create a theme. 








 I think that Dolce and Gabbana is missing out on connections with consumers by not having an App, they could take inspiration from this app and have a news feed which keeps everyone up to date with what they are doing and working on this would create a good relationship between consumer and brand and would be very easily accessible, Dolce and Gabbana could also show their products and have them up for sale on the app as well.

Brand Positioning Maps - Current and Proposed

Current: This brand positioning Map is where I feel the brand currently sits in the market against competitors. This map compare the quality and the price of the brand. I think Dolce and Gabbana has a high quality and a high price. However it is slightly cheaper than Prada and Gucci.  Proposed:  This is where I think my proposed brand D&G will sit against competitors in the market. I think it will be in the same area as competitors such as Moschino and Versus. It will be of a high price and high quality however it will be a lower price point than original Dolce and Gabbana brand.

Layout Design Development

Here are some screen shots I took earlier on in my marketing report development. This useful to look back at and see the improvements I have made, I also think it is useful to keep them incase I didn't like how I had changed it and wanted to go back to how it was. I definitely think in the first spread threre it too much going on and it needs to be made much more simple, I also think that the text needs to be positioned into the middle of the page in the last one. I am happy with the changes I Made to these spreads and it definitely took a long time to figure out how I wanted my report to finally look.
